How to Roll Parts

Build A Golem opens with a luck loop: you roll or buy golem parts, then you take those pieces to the crafter. The official description is that short on purpose. Players stall here because rolling feels like the game, when rolling is only the supply line. This page is about that supply line — how to spend Cash on parts without emptying RELEASE on a pile that cannot become a miner.

The experience is a live Roblox incremental from mesmerizing (really). Servers hold six people. Your inventory is still yours. Nothing here is Build a Golem Army: no spawners, no island rebirth, no kingdom raids. If a thumbnail tells you to roll for a battle golem, you opened the wrong title.

If you have not finished the tutorial or claimed codes, start with Getting Started and the codes hub. If you already have parts and cannot snap them together, jump to How to Build Golems. If a body exists and Cash is not moving, you need How to Mine, not another roll.

What a roll actually buys

A roll spends Cash (or a roll currency the HUD labels near the shop) for a random part. Typical assembly slots are head, torso, arms, and legs. This wiki does not publish an official named catalog or leaked rarity list. Treat whatever the roll screen shows as a piece with a job: it either helps a golem mine, or it is filler until you have a complete body.

Buying is the other door. The Shop on the left rail sells parts or convenience items for Cash. A buy is slower dopamine and faster completeness. Early accounts should buy the missing slot rather than roll five more heads.

Index is the collection pane. Open it to see what you already own. It is not the crafter. Claiming Index rewards — if the pane offers a claim — is a different lane from promo codes in Settings. Do not confuse Index claim with THANKS or RELEASE.

A first-session roll budget

RELEASE is 75,000 Cash as of September 2026. That is a large lump, not a license to mash roll until the wallet is empty. Park the Cash. Ask three questions before every roll or purchase:

  1. Does this complete a body I can send to the mine tonight?
  2. Is this better than the weakest slot I already hold?
  3. Would I still want this piece if the next roll is junk?

If the answer is no, keep the Cash. The parts tier list ranks investment by mining output versus filler. The starter golem builds page is the practical kit: one complete worker first, a second complete worker if Cash remains.

A workable split for the first hour: spend a slice of RELEASE on a full cheap set, assemble, assign, then spend a smaller slice on one upgrade roll. Save a reserve. Old servers and mistyped codes waste time; wasted rolls waste the only Cash spike we currently list.

When to stop rolling

Stop when you can craft. A golem with four cheap slots mining is worth more than a legendary-looking orphan piece in the bag. The official loop is roll/buy → crafter → mine. If you never leave the roll screen, you never print Cash, and offline progress never starts.

Stop when duplicates clog the Index and you still lack a torso. Completeness beats matching. Cosmetics wait until How to Mine shows Cash ticking.

Stop when you are about to log off. Spend the last minutes assigning, not gambling. Golems work offline only if they were working when you closed Roblox. That rule is on the game page and on offline mining.

Luck, without inventing a formula

Public coverage describes rolls as luck-based. We will not invent clover items, hidden pity counters, or official rarity names. What you can do in-session is practical:

  • Roll on a fresh server if the shop or roll booth looks stuck after a patch.
  • Watch Cash after a craft, not after a roll animation. The animation is not income.
  • Use Shop boosts only if you already have a miner assigned, so extra parts have somewhere to go.
  • Check Rewards once per session. It is a claim lane, not a second roll booth.

If a later patch publishes a luck stat, it will land on the updates hub. Until then, rank parts by the Cash they print after assignment, using the tier list.

HUD map for rolling

  • Settings gear — codes. Redeem THANKS and RELEASE before you roll. Steps: How to Redeem Codes.
  • Shop — spend sink. Open after you know which slot is empty.
  • Index — collection. Useful after a few rolls so you do not buy a duplicate you already own.
  • Rewards — extra claims. Check once, then leave.
  • Crafter — where rolls become a golem. Walk there as soon as the set is complete.
  • Mine — where the golem becomes Cash.

The controls guide is the camera and button map. The HUD checklist is the tick list for those panes so you do not bounce Shop → Index → Shop during a ten-minute session.

Common roll mistakes

Spending all of RELEASE on the first booth. The 75,000 is for a body plus a reserve, not for a highlight reel.

Rolling after THANKS. The Time Skip fast-forwards work that is already happening. A skip during a roll binge skips nothing useful. Assign first, skip second. That order is in the session planner.

Treating Index as a code box. Promo strings are in Settings. Index is inventory.

Importing Army habits. You are not rolling for a spawner. You are filling slots for a miner.

After the bag has parts

Walk to the crafter with a plan. How to Build Golems covers seating. How to Play is the loop around that seat. Late game strategy is for accounts that already have a miner printing and now replace one weak slot at a time instead of rolling a full reset.

Join the official Discord if you want new-code pings, not if you want a leaked part list. There is no official Trello. The Roblox listing is Build A Golem.

Roll until a body exists. Buy the missing slot if luck will not give it. Then leave the booth. The mine is the actual game.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for codes, mining, and crafter questions.

Should I roll or buy my first golem parts?

Buy or roll toward a complete body first. A cheap full set that can enter the mine beats a bag of unmatched rolls. See starter golem builds.

When do I stop rolling in the first hour?

As soon as you can assemble and assign. Then follow How to Build Golems and How to Mine.

Does RELEASE Cash have to be spent on rolls?

No. Claim it from Settings using the codes hub, then spend only the slice that completes a miner.

Is the Index the same as the code box?

No. Codes are in Settings. Index is the collection pane. The HUD checklist separates those buttons.

Will rolling more increase offline income?

Only after those parts become an assigned golem. Offline rules are on offline mining.
